Muay Thai is Thailand's national combat sport and one of the most effective striking arts in the world. Where boxing uses two weapons (fists) and karate uses four (hands and feet), Muay Thai uses eight — adding elbows and knees, plus the clinch. It's the striking foundation of modern MMA and one of the most complete stand-up fighting systems ever developed.
At Gracie Barra Davenport, we offer Muay Thai and Kickboxing classes for adults (14+) and kids (6+). Adult classes cover the full range of Muay Thai technique — punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and clinch work — with emphasis on proper form, combinations, and conditioning. Kids classes focus on striking fundamentals in a safe, structured, age-appropriate format.
Classes run throughout the week at 6250 Grandview Pkwy in Davenport — including morning, evening, and competition-focused sessions. Whether your goal is fitness, self-defense, or competing, there's a Muay Thai track for you.
