Thiago Belo is a professional MMA fighter ranked #1,681 in North America — and the head MMA coach at Gracie Barra Davenport. Born in Brazil, Thiago has been immersed in martial arts from an early age, training and competing across BJJ, Muay Thai, and MMA throughout his career.

As a competitor, Thiago brings real fight experience to every class he teaches. His instruction isn't theoretical — it's drawn directly from training camps, fight nights, and thousands of hours on the mat. When Thiago teaches a technique, he's taught it because it works under real pressure.

As a coach, Thiago's goal is simple: give every student — from a 3-year-old stepping on the mat for the first time to an adult preparing for their first amateur fight — the tools to grow, compete, and belong. He takes a patient, progressive approach that meets each student exactly where they are.

Thiago holds his Gracie Barra instructor certification and is committed to the GB philosophy of martial arts for everyone — regardless of age, background, or fitness level.
