Belt Promotions

One of the most meaningful events in BJJ — celebrating the hard work and dedication of our students. Belt promotions happen throughout the year as students achieve new milestones.

Tournaments

We regularly attend and co-host local and regional BJJ tournaments. Competition is a core part of the Gracie Barra journey — sharpening technique, building mental toughness, and testing your skills.

Seminars

Special technique seminars with visiting black belts and subject-matter experts. These intensive sessions offer a deep dive into specific positions, concepts, or martial arts disciplines.

Kids Events

From kids-only tournaments to graduation days and holiday parties, we create special moments for our youngest Gracie Barra members throughout the year.

Community Outreach

As a proud partner of the Florida Army National Guard and a pillar of the Polk County community, we regularly participate in and host outreach events and demonstrations.
